Should criminals be punished with lengthy jail terms or re-educated and re-habituated, using community service programs for instance, before being reintroduced to society? Why do you believe this? Which punishment is more cruel, the reprogramming of a human being or locking him in a cage?
The criminals should be punished with all they can think of and that its sevir and they realize what they did was wrong and shouldnt be left of the leash so quick. Because either way those people wont change. They will remine the same no matter how much they punish them. Once a criminal always one. All the programs they think of is wrong or wont make a difference if they do it or not. Reintroducing them into society wont do nothing. Just make the people that live around them look at the criminal wrong and no trust him nor treat him well. Its my point of view. The most cruel thing for a human is being locked up in a cage for god knows how long and if the case was that bad
